About Tai Koo Shing
This private residential neighbourhood sits in the Quarry Bay area of Hong Kong Island and is home to over 60,000 people. In the past, this modern neighbourhood was the site of the Taikoo Dockyard. Its foundation stone is still displayed today. Tai Koo Shing takes up a total area of 3.5 hectares consisting of 61 residential towers, retail, and office complexes and the lavish EAST Hong Kong hotel.
Don’t MissThere is not a lot to see in Tai Koo Shing itself, though there are a few things to see and due within a 10-minute walk away. Hong Kong has an extensive transport system and the Tai Koo MTR station serves the neighbourhood.
Outdoor lovers will be able to enjoy some of the terraces in the neighbourhood boasting podiums and children’s playgrounds. EAST Hong Kong hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and there are also tennis courts and badminton courts in Tai Koo Shing. You can head to the nearby Quarry Bay Park. Ice skating is an activity that you must do at Tai Koo Shing at the indoor Ice Palace in Cityplaza.

ShoppingCityplaza is the largest shopping mall in all of Hong Kong. It consists of six levels featuring international brands like H&M, Coach, Marks & Spenser, and Uniqlo. For local fashion, talk a walk along Hoi Kwong Street and visit some of the lovely boutiques.
