"Stayed 6 nights in an overwater bungalow as part of a long trip to the islands of both Hawaii and French Polynesia. "Property was nice but definitely an older property. Run down. Needs a face lift and upgrade. We upgraded to the premium room and it was just ok. It was 2 stories which’s worked for us but probably should have been noted. It was kinda inconvenient having the 2 nd floor, getting the suitcases up there and constantly going up and down. But awesome views. The room was old looking. Overall just needs to be updated. The fridge was tiny. Nothing fit in it. Hotel needs ice machines. Maybe another...

"The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!"
