"We checked in approx 6.45pm (en-route to dropping our daughter back at her uni digs in Bath & returned after) on a dark January evening. Seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, but we found it OK. Welcomed by Victoria - Steve (owner) was on holiday. Shown to our room & how we had access to the lounge & kitchen. Such a lovely house. Lots to look at. No TV in our room, so thought we’d watch the one downstairs - it wasn’t to be, though, as we couldn’t find the remote control - lol! Too late by then...

"Crown House is an east Oxford gem. Very reasonably priced rooms, maintained spotlessly, and managed by a kind, very hospitable, and attentive staff. Cowley Road location is ideal given local superabundance of genuine ethnic restaurants, multiple supermarkets, specialty stores, and Oxford's largest bike shop. Local buses run constantly on Cowley Road with easy, easy access to the city center. Crown House's Cowley Road location is also an easy walk to the Oxford Tube Bus stop on the near St....

"We had a lovely stay at the Manor Farm B&B. We felt very welcomed by the family that hosted us. The village and the surroundings were serene. Lovely visit to the local pub - highly recommend it. The breakfast was beyond expectations. Will be back in the future."

"What a great night at the Catherine wheel. We met Debbie when we checked in and she was so warm and friendly she made everything very easy for us. The room was clean, modern and very quaint. The food was outstanding in the restaurant with a good menu selection. There were 11 of us for dinner and you could tell everything was fresh and home made the pie was especially incredible. Thank you Catherine wheel we will be back again!! "

"The room looked lovely and as did others that we could see into as we passed along the corridor. The place had a very homely feel and is elegant in decoration. Such a shame there was a large stain on the bedroom carpet. "
