"room was large and light. It had enough room for a comfortable chair which would have been nice. The pool was lovely. The breakfast was more than plentiful and varied and tasty. and the welcome drinks also appreciated and a nice touch. Location is excellent and given Miami prices, the prices at the President were very attractive."

"The breakfast was of a nice variety; freshly cooked and fresh fruit with on-the-go selections. Staff was very respectful and attentive, huge plus! The room, nicely equipped with a French balcony to allow for natures alarm clock to wake up. "

"There are actually 3 properties in which you can stay. We ended up in an adjacent property that was co-located with Taco Taco restaurant. We rented a junior suite thinking it would be larger with a seating area - it was a basic hotel room. The room was dated, the noise from outside could be heard until midnight, and the A/C rattled. Definitely never again ....."

"The elevator in this hotel doesn’t work. You have to wait 30 minutes to get into working elevator. At one point in my stay to avoid waiting I had to go up by stairs to the 22 nd floor. The key doesn’t work. The cleaning is terrible and no towels by the pool."

"This is an honest review of my experience here: The rooms were spotless cleaned, and looked like they are fully renovated. The staff goes above and beyond, best service ever. Everyone who works there I would give them a 10. At the pool they have big bottles of sunscreen for everyone to use and I loved that. We also loved the game room for the teens and kids, I just wish it was opened until later but they close at 6pm. On the other hand, the hotel is very old, so the layout of the property is weird. Specially the spa and gym area. The beach area is not clean, there was a lot of seaweed and I couldn't believe you have to pay to get an umbrella. This is the first time I have to pay for an umbrella at a hotel in South Beach. The other thing I hated was the extra charge for every single thing. For example, yoga class you have to pay $30 per person, but not for the meditation class. Microwave in the room, $25, kids club $125 per day. Overall, the hotel is good if you're not looking for something luxurious, very family friendly, it's clean, has great staff but it's too old and the extra charges make no sense. "

"Nice rooms, comfortable bed. The fridge in my room didnt work which was a bummer, but overall good experience. Wish the pool had more lounge chairs available though. Overall friendly staff and convenient location!"

"I loved the room. The sheets didn't smell fresh but everything else was great. It was quiet. All the staff were wonderful. The pool was great but the pool bar was closed the majority of the week. The downstairs bar and restaurant was great. The location was perfect and there were so many great shops and restaurants to walk to. I would definitely stay there again. "
