"Pool was nice. Room was ok. Balcony was dirty and bird poop everywhere. Not useable for us. Breakfast was delicious. The waitress we had on Saturday morning was not nice and she rushed us. She came over and said “the dining room is closed.” I didn’t know if she was kicking us out so I asked for a container to take the fruit I was still eating. She said no to go boxes since it was a buffet. So I sat there and ate the fruit but service had stopped and I felt like I was being glared at. I would have happily moved to the bar area to finish if that would have helped. It left me feeling my presence was a nuisance. Truthfully it was so bad, I would not recommend the resort. The resort is expensive and I only used the pool for an afternoon. Having breakfast on site instead of driving somewhere was supposed to be a perk. It didn’t feel that way. "

"LivAway is a new hotel chain that focuses on offering the basics at a good value. My dog and I stayed one night at the Tolleson location in March 2026. Check in was easy, our room (an accessible one) was large, clean, and had what we needed. While we only used the fridge the kitchenette is a very nice touch. I definitely used the work table though. LivAway offers a very low pet fee per night and there were a lot of dogs on the premises (all well tended to and behaved, though I did hear some barking). Staff was friendly and greeted us on our many trips in and out. While our experience overall was great and I'd stay again, noise was an issue. Noise from I-10 was significant, but fortunately I have a high tolerance for traffic noise. Perhaps the south facing rooms are better in this regard. Our big noise issue was the elephant in the room above us (never did figure out if it was a dog or a child) stomping around nonstop from 8-11pm and then was back at it in the morning. Its stomps shook MY floor too, which gives me some concern for the construction of the building. Other noise readily transmitted too, which bothered my nervous dog (admittedly she does need to chill out). All in all though, for under $200 a night this is a good value if you're willing to give up the pool and continental breakfast. I would however suggest that the management consider putting up a shade structure over a portion of the gravel to keep it cool enough for dog paws to potty on."

"All the motels in Phoenix were running $500 plus a night and they were getting booked up fast. I finally found the Red Roof Inn Plus that had decent reviews and wasn't going to break the bank. I booked a King room. A day later, I found out my granddaughter was coming with us. I messaged the motel and asked if i could get a double bed room or a rollaway bed. They accommodated me immediately with a double bed. After we got to the motel, we found out the next morning that the shower head was broken. We were able to shower but the water wasn't spraying well. We told the front desk and by the time we got back ro the room that evening, the shower was fixed, the room was cleaned and fresh towels were in the room. This motel treated us great. "

"Kyle has great customer service and made checking in so easy. The room was clean and comfortable, Kyle accommodated us on the first floor because my mom has bad knees and helped us a lot. "

"Roaches, mold throughout, inoperative wall outlets, broken shower rod, moldy shower curtain dragging in tub, decrepit furnishings, missing light bulbs in numerous fixtures, numerous cigarette burns on all furniture, tub, return air grill missing filter and dripping water onto floor, walls poorly patched and repaired, bathroom door does not close, bed improperly made (top sheet on top of blanket), bathroom exhaust grill falling off. This place is an unsanitary dump. Hard to believe brand and inspectors would allow it to remain in business. "
