*Spa facility closed until 3pm each day. *Restaurant was closed entirely. None of this was mentioned before booking. *To eat dinner you needed to eat elsewhere but there was few options around. *Dried yellow crystalised urine all over the tiles around the toilet. *Not even a complimentary bottle of water left in the room. *TV in the lobby only showing a fashion channel. When asking to put a sports channel on I was told it is not possible.

Weekend in Strassbourg
Kurztripp nach Strassbourg in der Familie. Schönes Zimmer und genügend Platz in einem originellen Zimmer - so macht es Spaß. Fitness zweckmäßig und Spa passt ebenfalls. Für uns hat alles gestimmt. Kommen sicher wieder.

Très bien mais un peu bruyant
Séjour très agréable malgré la chambre qui donnait sur la rue beaucoup plus bruyante que côté patio. Le coffre fort de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt okay
Als wir ankamen wollte man gleich, dass wir beim Check-in den gesamten Aufenthalt inkl. Massagen und Frühstück im Voraus buchen. Auch bei der Buchung der Massagen via Mail ein paar Tage zuvor, mussten wir eine Kreditkarte hinterlegen. Nach einer Diskussion mit einer ziemlich arroganten Empfangsdame durften wir vorerst nur das Zimmer begleichen. Allerdings bezahlten wir dieses doppelt, da es die Buchung von hotels.com mit hinterlegter Kreditkarte und zugleich die Kosten im Hotel, die etwas tiefer waren, abbuchte. Der Manager stellte dies glücklicherweise beim Check-out fest. Das Hotel ist für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ganz okay. Modern eingerichtete Zimmer mit einem separaten WC und eine schöne Dusche. Die Tram Station ist 5 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt und 2 Tramlinien fahren direkt ins Zentrum, das war sehr praktisch. Der Wellnessbereich ist schön aber sehr klein und ein Bademantel kostet 5 Euro. Handtücher gibt es nur 1 pro Person, auch im Wellnessbereich sind keine zu finden. Das gleiche gilt für Wasser. Die Massagen sind etwas überteuert und wurden von sehr jungen und etwas unerfahrenen Masseurinnen durchgeführt. Das Frühstück für 17 Euro ist ebenfalls überteuert und könnte für diesen Preis etwas mehr Auswahl bieten. Allgemein ist es sehr sperrlich eingerichtet. Für einen 1-Tages Aufenthalt, um die Stadt zu besichtigen und den Weihnachtsmarkt zu besuchen war es okay.

One of the best in France!
The room was excellent. It was very clean and well kept. I also loved the big windows and how big the room was. The hotel staff were super friendly and provided great customer service. The breakfast was great as well, they had a self serve open buffet. This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in France so far. I would definitely book again.

Hôtel très agréable (un petit spa après un passage au marché de Noël, rien de mieux) La ville est facilement accessible via le tram. Petit manque au niveau de la propreté (grosse empreinte de main laissé sur la paroi de l’armoire). Il manque également un étendoir à essuies dans la salle de bain. Impossible de mettre les essuies et maillots à sécher après le spa.

Rooms were comfortable, easy parking, but breakfast was mediocre at best. Staff were very helpful on the front desk and ok in the restaurant . Nice pool with pool towels in room and close to the tram service that runs every 10mins to the city, you can get your tickets from machine but make sure to tap in each time before you get on a tram.

Restaurant qualitatif et original mais le service était limite…le vin n’est pas arrivé au même moment que les plats, attente des couverts alors que les plats étaient déjà servis, erreur sur l’addition. Dommage car c’était très bon et le service dénote un peu avec la qualité du repas. Concernant la chambre, la literie est à revoir. Le spa très jolie mais l’air ambiant était frais et la température de la piscine aurait méritée un ou deux degrés de plus.

Home away from home
I was on a business trip for 18 days in Strasbourg. I booked the 1st 7 days at Hotel Athena Spa in order to see if I could spend so much time at one hotel. There were a few things in the beginning which made me re-consider and move elsewhere but I decided to stay the full 18 days. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The restaurant, although a small selection had incredible food so all in all, it felt like my home away from home.

The best thing about the property is the front desk -- ever cheerful, ever helpful. The location is clean and quiet, but close to nothing: no restaurants, no shops, no facilities. The nearest thing to you is a tram stop about 400 metres away, and the nearest restaurants are one stop away from that. The proerty has only one restaurant, and on two of our four nights it was fully reserved for a tour group, leaving other guests to fend for themselves!

My stay was the first part of my 3 week business trip in Strasbourg. I booked for 8 nights before booking the remainder of my trip as I wanted to see if I could stay there for the full 3 weeks. I have found the staff very friendly, the facilities are good and a short tram ride to Strasbourg centre.

Inadmissible !! Ma réservation a été annulée le jour même à 12h par l’hôtel directement Sans me prévenir ! Un vrai scandale J’ai contacté l’hôtel la vieille pour réserver une place de parking. Accueil charmant et nous avons effectué la réservation du parking. J’ai reçu un mail le jour de mon arrivée à 7h du matin dont l’objet était reservation de votre hôtel ( en sachant que48h avant j’avais confirmé ma réservation via un mail reçu de l’hôtel dans ce sens là ). J’ai donc imaginé que ce nouveau mail du matin ne m’apportait aucune information complémentaire. Étant en rendezvous professionnel toute la matinée jusqu’à 12h je n’ai pu ouvrir mon mail qu’à 12h15. Ce mail précisait que ma carte bleue n’était pas valide et que ma réservation était annulée si je n’appelais pas avant 12h. J’ai donc appelé l’hôtel immédiatement. Ma réservation a été purement et simplement annulée sans un coup de fil de l’hôtel ! Et il ne restait plus de chambre pour le samedi soir. Nos chambres avaient déjà été revendues ! Je pouvais venir le vendredi soir ( il restait encore 2 chambres) puis me débrouiller pour trouver un hôtel le samedi soir! Ce week-end était organisé depuis des mois avec mes enfants et mon mari. C’est un rituel de passer ce week-end avec nos enfants tous les ans ( notre dîner dans un étoilé était déjà payé en partie) L’hôtel n’a cherché aucune solution et nous a laissé en plan totalement ! Je suis vraiment scandalisée par cette attitude totalement irrespectueuse.
