"Cannot rate the staff, this is a self service hotel, but it’s really easy, you’ll get a couple of codes the day of your stay. The hotel is right in the heart of the shambles, as a tourist that’s exactly the area where you want to be. The hotel is like nothing that you ever have experienced before, I can guarantee it. Without spoiling your experience I will tell you that my hard-to-please teenager was flabbergasted with the experience, he said it’s in his top 5 hotels in the world. "

"The hotel is in an amazing location in York, close to Yorkminister cathedral and in the midst of the old city. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were pleased to get early check-in as our room was ready. The breakfast is excellent with lots of choice.
