"Unable to get in touch with the host. Was refused a refund after I went to the property and it was unclean and random person sleeping in the shared areas. Bedroom lock barely attached to the door and furniture in poor state of repair I didn't sleep at the property as I felt unsafe and no refund issued. Does not look like the listing pictures. "

"Horrendous, the photos were completely misleading I got there and it was filthy, dirty earbuds and a spoon in the wardrobe, kitchen was horrendous, I didn't even want to sit on the bed, I actually cried when I got there and I missed my uni day tried to contact the host and the were horrible z totally out of order and lied, I've never been to a place like it. And other people were in there and had all their messages everywhere,I had to spend more money getting a taxi and a room at the premier inn, honestly absolutely hellish "

"Although the message said someone would be there to greet me, I wasn't sure who, so followed the instructions for the key collection with no problem. Room very spacious, but could do with a socket near the bed and blackout curtains with the bright light in the back. Tried to watch TV, but there were no channels, but was able to watch iPlayer etc instead. The instructions about leaving were a bit confusing. I tried the key safe outside the room, but it didn't open, so I assumed the message meant leave the key in the room, which I did. Later on I did wonder whether I should've put it in the key safe where I actually picked it up from. Apologies for rushing out and forgetting to take down my bowl and wash it up."

"I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process"
