A very unique and beautiful restaurant venue downstairs. Bedroom was in good condition, very clean with all necessities. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive.

Close but no cig
The cold water inlet valve on the shower did not function and it was only by good luck that I did not get seriously scolded by very hot water in the shower.
A really nice, clean, quiet hotel. Comfy beds, good kitchenette. Slightly odd bench/sofa in the room though. Be aware they pre authorise £50 on your card and this isn't made very clear when booking. Make sure you take ID too. However I would definitely stay here again.

Don't go here if you have mobility issues.
And my room overlooked the exit from nightclub very noisy.
I was a bit worried as I read some bad reviews, but apart from not being able to turn down the temperature on the shower, and no plughole in the kitchen I enjoyed a little bit of noise from pub next door.
Plenty of space in our double room. Felt very secure since there's a round the clock watchman at the facility. Very friendly, chatty guy.History of pottery is facinating, we enjoyed seeing the free Spode museum. Good location for traveling by train, then getting a taxi to and from Alton Towers. The only downside was the fire alarms that went off for apparently no reason.
Nice quirky bar and dining area. My room was adequately equipped but the quirkiness didn’t follow through to the accommodation. It was clean and well presented. Only issue is that the doors slam shut on entering and exiting even when trying my best to close them quietly. This resulted in it being quite noisy.

Potbank Stay
Room was okay & well equipped, wasn’t very clean as cobwebs on the extractor hood and quite dusty. No curtains only blinds so the room was quite light & night & the mattress was awful
Had a lovely stay at the Potbank. While I knew about the deposit pre-authorisation, the 8-10 days release period has left me slightly nervous as I do not know who may stay in the same room during that period and how they may leave it. I would have thought the room could have been checked within 24 hours and the pre-authorisation released then.

Ok
Rather disappointed as room not as good as the one on Friday night. Not as much room a bit squashed and stain on chair only 1 chair my husband had to sit on bed. Would stay again if I could have a room like the one on Friday.
Great little boat hole. Loved the guys looking after the site felt nice and safe. Clean and remote check in worked well. Only two little things perhaps a few more things for the kitchen as it would have been nice to have a plate and bowl, nice touch to have proper mugs and complimentary tea/coffee. Bathroom even though it had an extractor smelt a little musty perhaps due to having no window. But all in all would recommend.
Overall not bad but they're is no denying the entertainment downstairs is loud and goes into the early hours on a weekend. People also gathered on the benches right outside our window talking and revelling loudly until about 2am which was not ideal.v
The bed is too soft and squeaky for me and the water in the shower was far too hot at ours lowest temperature for me to shower.
Ok for the money but wouldn't do more than one night.
10am is too early for check out, especially if you have been kept awake and they charge another £20 if you want to check out later
The worst hotel experience I’ve had. My room was situated directly above the bar. I was aware it would be playing music until 10pm, however it got to 11 and showed no sign of stopping, so I rung reception who assured me it would be off my 11:30. It got to almost midnight with no sign of it quietening down so I rung down again, the lady at reception then very kindly let me change room to one higher up and away from the noise. The hotel in general is done up fairly nicely but the location is just appalling. Right next to a busy bar and restaurant, both of which are situated right next to the hotel rooms and are single glazed so sound is a big problem. Having checked the reviews before booking there was no word about this, had I of known I would’ve never booked. To top it off my shower didn’t work, the beds were insanely springy and uncomfortable, the pillows were like sleeping on bags of air, and the kitchen equipment (saucepans) was not fit for purpose. I picked here because it was close to a relatives house and I wanted to try a smaller business. I’ll stay in a premier inn next time. Avoid.
The most beautiful room. Can't believe how cheap it was for such a gorgeous hotel. Also the bar is so festive make sure you treat yourself to a drink or two !
