"I only stayed one night as a layover inbetween destinations, but it was a good stay. The staff are lovely and the rooms are modern and in good condition. There is a small fitness room, it it had enough in the way of equipment to get in a workout. It’s an oldish building and has oldish building problems (small elevators and not enough of them) but it was a good stay. Location is right on the park, and very convenient"

"Loved that this was the old Cook County Hospital, quite the history! Recommend the "Museum", but our party all agreed it was more of a "Remembrance Room", interesting and good history. Location was great for us, but a bit off the touristy route (our son and niece are UIC Med). Hotel was nice (elevators a take a minute to get use to!), amenities were great (nice bar and had fun playing pool), breakfast was included and fine. Common area furniture could use some loving...and DEFINITLY some...
