Apartment had a lift, we stayed in apt 13 on the 5th floor with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a balcony with a nice view overlooking the Calton Hill. Checking in was easy with a pin code for the entry gate, lift and apt, felt very safe with CCTV around the common areas. Whole house was fully equipped with heaters, even for the bathroom floors. The location is ideal, just off the Royal Mile, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay — it really was a perfect Christmas. "No staff, which is fine with me. Easy entry, spacious, clean, excellent location. Apartment basically with good view of the Christmas market. One note on the Attic Flat, have light luggage and be pretty fit. No lift and impressive staircase to get in. Was excellent."
