"We enjoyed staying at Deer Haven Inn. Perfect for a place to sleep comfortably and spend the rest of your day enjoying Monterey. Deer Haven is an older inn, but well maintained, very clean and beds comfortable. They are pet friendly for a few of course. The price is very reasonable. "
"Well located for access to Cannery Row, Aquarium and waterfront trails. Parking 19$ per day extra but convenient and secure. Room was comfortable and quiet and housekeeping efficient . Continental breakfast best we have experienced in a week in the Carmel/Monterey area...freshly cooked omelettes and a variety of fruit etc options."

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet very much. It is not your typical pastry, coffee and cold cereal. Something for everyone and if you have any dietary restrictions let them know and they will accommodate your needs. I don’t eat gluten myself and they went out of their way to bake some gf berry muffins for me! "
"Cindy is the best and she makes you feel like family. The property is in top condition. It is not near the downtown to walk but it is close to everything. You will love it. You can hear the road a little but it’s all good."
"This was a nice place to stay. There isn’t a swimming pool, a fitness center or complimentary breakfast, but the location was great, the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and quiet, and we really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay there again. "
