"When we arrived we were told our room was no longer available due to a 'maintenance issue' so had to book somewhere else at the last minute. The lady that we spoke to was nice and did say they had tried to contact us during the day about the situation. However, checking the message we found in Expedia, it was only sent an hour before we arrived late afternoon. Not helpful when you are driving long distance. Might be a one off but, obviously, have to score the hotel low in this instance."

Also they leave say if you want your room cleaned you should leave a note on your door by 11pm which is could yet not putting a note on the door they still came in your room and took the key out of the room which I find annoying"

"As many have said, this is a dated hotel with a very 1970s feel. We stayed on a Friday night as we had an early flight the next day, and the car park was very busy (as was the bar, so we ended up eating in a side room). The food was actually pretty good. The rooms were fairly basic but comfortable, and we felt safe the whole time. It was a very short walk to the airport the next morning (I asked if they did wake-up phone calls and got a firm 'no'). "unlike many other hotels that arose from a series of converted houses this hotel has made a really good job of converting an entire strip of houses. We did not have breakfast as it was way too expensive so went out to Caffe Nero around the corner. We booked graduation night for next month at the same time. Parking was difficult, despite getting a ticket from the Hotel to put onto the dashboard of the car."
