"We had a wonderful meal at the restaurant. The bed was comfortable. There was only two small hot tubs which if the property had been full, would’ve made it a bit crowded for everyone. There was plenty of parking. The bathroom sink had a shelf above it, which was great for putting your bathroom items on, but it made it difficult to lean over the sink without hitting your head. The shower required you to use the provided squeegee which you needed to do or it would have flooded into the rest of the bathroom. The floor was slippery if you walked into the bathroom from the hot tub area. Would highly recommend getting a room that faces the hot tub area as it made it very convenient to access the hot tub."

"WAW, Waw, waw.... I don't know where to start. Excellent location, perfect stop for the Gold Circle. Worth every penny! The reception is cosy and clean, very warm welcome from the staff. And that stayed the same throughout. The room was impressive to say the least. It was perfect in every way. Clean, spacious, tea/coffee facilities, view was amazing, the bathroom.....waw, spacious, big shower and all the shampoo etc you could want. Perfect bathroom. The beds were ridiculously comfortable and the robe and slippers were the cherry in top. Free use of the hot tubs were absolutely brilliant, very nice touch to the stay. Breakfast was brilliant, tea/coffee, yoghurt, cereal, hot food and pastries, absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Very nice and convenient stay within the Golden Circle. Midpoint between Thingvellir and Geysir/Gullfoss. The hotel is nice and they offer permanent station of tea, coffee and hot chocolate which are always a plus. The Laugarvatn Lake is right behind the hotel, making it a nice view for certain rooms. I would stay here again if I was ever back in the area."

"A unique property! We had dinner, and later ice cream with a window into the cows having their dinner. Very cool! Room was immaculate and the staff were very helpful."

"Lovely decorated, clean room. Small things that could have been better - kettle in room but where it's situated, can't be plugged in - had to put it on the floor. Would have been good to have glasses in room and a fridge would have been great! Otherwise, nice enough stay. "

"We had a perfect short stay, and would have loved to stay longer if our itinerary allowed. Everything was perfect and clean, as if we were the first visitors. We are a family of 6 with 4 children, and were hesitant if the kids would feel comfortable next door to us. It worked out perfectly. Clean and cozy! Bonus: We were able to see the Northern Lights even though it was a cloudy night. "
