"It is not easy to get in and out of the hotel by uber or Bolt. In order to get to the hotel by Uber, we had to get an QR code for the driver to access the road to be in front of the hotel. Each QR code costs €2 and hotel guests have to pay for it. I requested the code via Expedia message which blacked my email address in the message and the hotel did not respond. I also reached out to the hotel by WhatsApp to get an QR code and I never received it. We ended up to lug our suitcases from the Bolt...

"This is a lovely property. But at breakfast, there was no coffee until we were half finished, and no serving utensils for the hot buffet dishes until we asked. It seemed like all the staff was new. But they were nice. We arrived 20 minutes before checkin time, and were made to wait until 5 minutes after the official time for our room, seemingly on principle. The hotel seemed at least half empty, and there were no other guests in the lobby."

The attention to detail is very clearly shown by the interesting decor. Douglas laid out a great itinerary for us that included some sites that the bus tours would never visit. Casa da Estefânea has a great location to explore the Sintra area. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming stay in this...

"What a beautiful property that is rich in historic charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hrlpgul staff, easy parking on the property, and the restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to enjoy the breakfast as we had an early flight back home."

"The breakfast included is at a close restaurant and was very good. The only negative was that the restaurant was extremely crowded and it required us to wait to get our breakfast. The hotel room was very nicely decorated the bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. Two of the three staff members were very friendly and helpful. Their break area was nicely decked out and overlooking a greenery area that made for a relaxing afternoon.. the location was good, although quite a walk...
