"The room was spacious and clean. The restaurants were nice. The only thing was that my family and I went on an excursion, we were dropped off by the tram and wasn’t told we had to get our own way back. Otherwise, it was a great visit!"

"Very comfortable, loved the free nightly margaritas and free breakfast. Especially made-to-order eggs, avocado, and tomato toast. The tables were "sticky" to the touch. We had to lay napkins on them so our arms wouldn't stick to the table, The chairs are showing excessive wear, but they were comfortable to sit on."

"I booked my stay at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Miramar Beach through Expedia and was incorrectly charged multiple times directly by the hotel. Before checkout, I addressed the issue in person and was assured the charges would be reversed and that a parking fee would be removed due to the inconvenience. A week later, I still have an outstanding $362 charge and a $30 fee that were supposed to be removed. I’ve called twice and was told it would be handled and that I would receive a follow-up call, which never happened. This level of billing error and lack of follow-through is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I should not have to repeatedly chase down corrections for charges that should have never occurred. I am now forced to escalate this through my bank."

"Stay was great overall. Easy access to the beach and loved the shuttle service. The only downside was how they said it was a breakfast buffet available for additional charge. I paid the extra fee for the amount of my stay but, to find out it was not buffet style it was à la carte. It was still good with great service from the hotel staff. Just giving others a full disclosure on this."

"The hotel was okay. You can tell it needs to be maintained better. My room was okay. The biggest problem was the random housekeeper knocking on my door at 8pm and then just unlocking the door when no one answered, when I called downstairs to complain, the manager said that’s why I should bolt lock my door. But since when is it normal for housekeeping to enter your room in the after hours? So customer service is not their strong suit. Would I stay here again? Probably not."

"Property is older and a bit worn, but sheets and towels were clean. Kitchen is fully functional and the views were excellent. Great water pressure, but often lacked hot water when showering. We were visiting the area for a family event and the property met our needs when we weren’t out and about."

"Great views of beach. Easy access from onsite parking structure. Our unit was upgraded with quality modern furnishings. "

"I loved the location of the Bay Club Sandestin, and the amenities of the area. We had access to 3 outdoor pools (2 heated), and there was a trolley to the beach area. We were able to visit other local attractions with just a 15min drive. Within the community there was a dedicated walking path that was beautiful and well maintained. My only complaint is that the actual unit we were staying in, while well-appointed was actual dirty. Walking through the unit after a shower resulted in visibly dirty feet. The showers and bath tub needed to be scrubbed, there was buildup of scum on the bottom of the shower. The kitchen was clean enough, but the dishwasher was dirty enough that I hand washed all dishes rather than put anything in there. "

"Check in was very long. They were short staffed was my understanding. The room is a basic room with no updates for modern technology. The tv is pretty basic. No streaming. The property itself is great! Easy to get around and lots to do!"
