"Excellent hotel and pub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was also excellent and wonderful value for money. The rooms were a good size, wonderfully clean and had everything you would need, including an iron and ironing board. So good that we are booking a return visit!"

"You get what you pay for. The Inn was probably built in the 70s and was very unattractive. The room was cheap. The check in was underwhelming, the room smelt of dampness, mould and cheap detergent. I never took my shoes off due to the dirty carpet and brown stains on the bathroom floor. There were black hairs all over the bathroom and in one of the beds and may be others but we chose not to look. Light came through the bedroom blind. There is nowhere to drop off bags etc. abd my eife uses a mobility scooter, so, we would not be able to get anything to eat in the evening. I had to carry our case from the railway station and dusmantlr the scotter and made several trips up stairs to store it in the very small room, then, carry it downstairs again to go out. "This is a wonderful, historic hotel on the river in Worcester, a 5 pound taxi ride from the Worcester New Shrub train station, and within walking distance to the city's cathedral and central shopping, dining area. The breakfasts couldn't be better, and the restaurant is top notch. My room had a separate living room facing the river with operable French doors and windows."

"The photos of this property are completely misleading, as in reality it is very very different! The room was small, nowhere to put anything, the en-suite was tatty with broken shelf over sink, dirty mirror and a shower that was pretty poor! The room was cold & uninviting! Other parts of the property were full of clutter & just looked uncared for and needs a complete overhaul. I can’t believe we paid good money to stay here!! "

"These lodges are just beautiful! Perfect location for the party we had at Rise and Grind. Beautiful views of the lake from the balcony. Spotlessly clean . Well equipped with kettle/ biscuits etc . Reception staff very welcoming. Honestly can’t fault it . Will visit again one day "

"Perfect place to stay. Lovely pub & gardens. Room was great plenty of room with the added luxury of a small balcony overlooking the pub garden. Breakfast was great and although not needed they had reserved a seat for an evening meal which I thought was great."
