This was a lovely place to spend 3 nights. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated, but were spotlessly clean and well serviced during the stay. All staff were suberb, from check in to bar staff, including one who helped me with a minor key problem while not actually working. Superb location for cathedral, shopping and river. I can't comment on the food as it suited me to eat elsewhere.

Hotel is in an excellent location and close to multi storey carpark. Rooms are a good size and comfortable. Bar are is good with a good selection of food and drink. I would definitely recommend the breakfast

The staff were fabulous. My room was very quaint: beautiful 4 poster bed etc. Location was quite quiet & Worcester was lovely. Great stay thank you. Car parking a bit of a navigational issue but managed it!

It was in the old centre of the city, and walking distance which was brilliant. Also close to the river and cathedral which we liked visiting.

Great little hotel will be coming back

We booked to go to the races and choose ye old Talbot and glad we did the hotel is bit dated but it goes with the hotel which is an old building and quirky managed to book the four poster bed which is comfy and had good night's sleep after the races we decided to eat there and rather than pick something of main course we went for 6 starters and food was excellent standard and well worth the money only downside which was stated no car park but there is one next door £11.00 for the night and not sure if was the boiler but came on during night did make nit of a noise

It was fine for an over night stay, but rooms need updating. Beds were comfortable and good strong shower. Rooms at front of hotel if a warm night, are noisy with window open, so not ideal. That said, it was reasonably priced, so not too bad all in all.

Excellent place to stay in central Worcester

Great hotel attached to good pub. Room clean and comfortable. Check in a breeze. Loads of pubs and restaurants nearby in Worcester. Pretty quiet considering location. Breakfast was excellent. Will stay again

Check-in to the hotel was good. Quick service by reception. Got to the room and it was clean but very basic. I stayed in this hotel with work over 8 years ago & the carpet & furniture which looked dated then, have still not been replaced. The hotel is close to the cathedral & in the city centre. It could be a gem if the rooms had some money spent on them.

This is a great quirky little pub to stay at very centrally located. Great staff all very friendly and obliging especially Debbie the breakfast person everyone from the manager to the bar man all were chatty and helpful we will definitely stay agsin next timecwe are in Worcester

Convenient with Excellent Breakfast

Comfortable room at very reasonable price including full breakfast, which was excellent. Convenient for city centre, cathedral and cricket (my reason for trip). I travelled by train so can't comment on parking. It's an old inn so rooms are not super-modern but have character. It was very warm until I had had the windows open overnight. A fan was provided but I was glad I missed the predicted heatwave a few days later. With windows open there was a degree of street noise, e.g. bin lorries early morning. I will return provided there's no heatwave forecast!

Lovely and clean, on the edge of the Town centre, opposite the Cathedral. Great for walking into the Centre and quiet at night, apart from the noise of people staying in the Talbot. An old coaching inn, with plenty of character and a warren of walks to get to some rooms. The room we had was a bit dark, but coped with the lights as we were visiting family, who lived local. Staff were lovely from the guys checking us in to the housekeepers cleaning the rooms. Would stay again
