Much easier to get to than we thought - the JR train changes to a different provider at izu kogen but we just stayed on the train and paid the fare balance at Kawazu / also the hotel runs a shuttle so if u r going by train contact them the day before to get the times of their shuttle"

"Everything about this location was beautiful. The staff was really kind and helpful. The room was great with the inside onsen being the highlight of the room. "I really enjoyed my stay at Saint Raphael Villa. I’m a single traveler and the room was just perfect for me and had ever I needed. The room was really cute and cozy and I felt very comfortable there. I also appreciated the access to the kitchen to prepare meals and clean up my dishes. The location is very convenient, less than 10 minutes walk from the bus stop and the beach. There is a beautiful shrine about 10-15 minutes walk from the villa. The neighborhood is calm, safe and quiet."
