Location is convenient, close to the metro station and the DDP. An airport shuttle bus stops right outside the hotel for transfers. However, the service lacks the welcoming, homely feel often found in other hotels or guesthouses. Complimentary coffee, tea, and bottled water are only provided on the first day of your stay. Room cleaning is not done daily, staff only collect trash and replace towels. Unless you are a member, early check-in or late check-out incurs an additional fee.

It was great! The front staff were very kind and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel is next to the street, but it was very quiet to sleep. Overall, it was ver pleasant to stay. I’ll stay there again.

Comfortable & Convenient Hotel

We have stayed in Western Coop for several times during our visit to Seoul. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. The most attractive to us is its self-serve laundry facilities which are very important during our 9 days tour in Seoul. Location is very convenient as we liked to walk around markets and shopping malls in Dongdaemun. We will continue to choose Western Coop in Seoul.

I stayed for three days and two nights. The front staffs are very kind and helpful. The hotel room is clean and spacious. There is a working desk in the room. Thus, I could easily check e-mails and take care of some urgent works. Washing machines and dryers are easy to use. Overall, it is a good place for family.

Home away from home

Great location to go anywhere in Seoul including the airports. Countless restaurants, shopping opportunities and historic places are within walking distance. Light cooking is possible with an induction stove, fridge, microwave oven, dishes and utensil for two. Nearby traditional market is a great source of ingredients.

So so

First night, was given a defective room so the room was extremely cold. The hotel changed us to another room. Although the boiler was working and the room was warm, but the fridge and hair dryer were not working. They rectified the defects the next day. Overall, the room is big but the conditions of the room are poor, not very clean, and towels are dirty. The hotel is within walking distance to metro, shopping area, and there is a convenience store next to it.

Best Hotel in Dongdaemun

We would stay in Western Coop when visiting in Seoul because of its spacious room, sufficient facilities (pantry inside the guest room, laundry room), and convenient transportation as it is quite near the Dongdaemun market. I have no reservation to recommend this hotel and will choose Western Coop in my next trip to Seoul.

Location is good where many eatery nearby. Convenient store is just next to hotel and few money exchange with good rate nearby. Hotel is reachable easily by Airport Bus No 6001, the bus stop right in front the hotel. Location wise really great and convenient.
