Excellent hotel with great service minded staff

It’s a great stylish and luxurious hotel. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and attentive to your needs. The breakfast buffet is one of the most delicious I have tried so full marks for that too. I have only good things to say about this hotel.

The Grand hotel was a Palace. And is Elegant in an exuberant Victorian style. The furnishings are all original and in superb condition. It is a treasure trove of valuable antiques. We had a memorable time especily being with our son Eduardo.

I was informed upon check-in that nearly every amenity (gym, pool, etc) was closed. The lobby feels “grand,” but the rooms will look and feel outmoded to anyone who has stayed in a hotel since 1990. The rooms feel especially old-fashioned. Water dripped from the ceiling of my room, leaving a wet spot on the carpet below. Good breakfast.
