Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. "This is a pub with rooms, so not a hotel. But, wow it is absolutely at the top of the scale for pubs. Room was perfectly clean and had as good a view as you could find anywhere in the world. Location, perfect, parked at the nearby harbour carpark, not overly expensive. Bar staff were great, evening food was great, four real ales on tap, all delicious. Great choice at breakfast and again lovely staff. I would seriously give this accommodation 11 out of 10. 100% recommended."

"Huge room, plus a bath In the bathroom, making it perfect for a stopover whilst doing the SWCP. Two beds pushed together made for a superb night’s sleep, best we had all week. Two adults, two dogs but plenty of space still. "

The room and hotel were very nice and well kept, but the restaurant area was incredibly cold, the windows in the conservatory area leaked air around the edges and the air con wasn’t running any heating when we were in there eating so hurried through and returned to room. "I liked this apartment very much. Everything I could possibly want or need was provided. The view, particularly from the bay window, was wonderful. The steep steps up were a bit disconcerting but I got used to them and the apartment was definitely worth the steep climb. Unfortunately there was no internet access (an EE issue I gather). Also the kettle didn’t work. I just used a saucepan."

Great for early morning walks to the beach, and if you want to explore, most things are a short driving distance for hikes and other breathtaking nearby beaches.
