"Stayed here for 3 nights pre-cruise and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is quite small with only about 25 rooms but the hotel has gone thru a renovation . Rooms are nicely done and clean. Natalie, at the front desk is helpful with a wealth of information as to the sights, sounds, restaurants in the area. It is close to many restaurants, sightseeing sights and close to the port. The breakfast is nice and includes coffee, juice, bread rolls, croissants, sliced cheese, cold cuts, fresh fruit, cold...

"I booked this hotel because the thought of staying in a historic convent intrigued me. What I didn’t realize was that the area has very steep streets. Public transportation, including Tram 28, is close by for going into the main square area. The ladies at the front desk are so helpful with directions and suggestions. I read that the beds are hard and that is true but honestly I think it did my back some good after 4 days of climbing the hills. I wish the pillows were a bit softer. The room was...

"A treasure of a sweet hotel in the old town of Alfama . Stellar front desk staff for hospitality. One of the gentleman even came outside and carried my suitcase in. The manager was lovely as well ensuring we got an early check in. Beautiful breakfast and outdoor patio. Enjoyed the free walking tour they provided of the neighborhood. The room was clean and great bathroom. They even have a small outdoor pool."
