"Upon arriving we were a little hesitant, the outside leaves a lot to be desired. But this property did not disappoint. It was outdated and I did use Lysol wipes on surfaces in our room. But I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet, elevators were fast. Excellent location to Canal St.subway. Fantastic and clean bodega 24/7 next door. Unlimited free bottles water at front desk and a rooftop terrace. Luggage storage in lobby. Had everything we needed. Great bargain! Stayed a Friday-Sunday in Spring for $580 total. "

"I stayed at this hotel for one night because it was close to the airport and I needed to be in NJ briefly. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The lobby is beautiful—clean, modern, and exactly what you see in the photos. That’s actually what led me to book the hotel. However, the rooms are a completely different story. When we checked in, I specifically asked if there were more updated rooms, since I assumed the hotel might have renovated sections. The front desk staff member was very kind and helpful, but the first room we were given was in really poor condition—chipped paint everywhere, a bad smell in the bathroom, and visible mold in the vent. It felt neglected and far from clean. We asked to switch rooms and were told the only options were the 10th floor or the 1st floor. Since the 10th floor looked just as worn down, we chose the 1st floor. The staff member did warn us it might be noisy due to the pool and said the pool closed at 8 PM, which seemed reasonable. Unfortunately, the noise was not from the pool. There was constant yelling, screaming, and doors slamming throughout the night. It felt chaotic and made it very difficult to relax or sleep. The second room was still in rough shape—more chipped paint, run-down finishes, and the towels were dry and rough. At times, the room even smelled like cigarette smoke, likely coming from a nearby room, which was really unpleasant. I do want to note that every staff member we interacted with was extremely"

"Stayed here with my dog Ocho for an art show I had in SoHo. Cant say enough about the amazing staff & property. Roger the bellman is THE BEST & helped me with anything I needed, coffee at the cafe was superb & we ended up at the bar for our after party which was great to just take the elevator up the beautiful atrium and go to bed, ha. Had small bites for dinner one of my nights there at the restaurant & was pleasantly surprised. Didn’t get to check out Django but it’s on my list & since I actually live in the city, will make a night of it soon and will be thrilled to staycation there again! Also I forgot some items in my room and they had everything bagged up & ready for me to pick up the next day. Super dog friendly - they bring a dog bed & bowls.
