"Breakfast was great. Close to all major attractions. Great location. Room was hot, windows open- lots of noise and mosquitos! April visit. Rooms are small, not in the room much. Clean and great beds. Just what you need after sightseeing! "

"The hotel is extremely beautiful and completely spotless. The breakfast was superb with so much choice. Shuttles were on time and with plenty room. The hotel is let down by some of the staff who are not super friendly and we didn’t always feel welcomed. The aircon in our room was also broken. We ordered two coffees to our room and had to pay 24 euros for the pleasure. The pool is only open in summer months. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Montecarlo! The hotel is in a wonderful, central location close to Piazza San Marco. The staff was helpful, always ready to answer questions or give advice on local restaurants, things to do, etc. We had them arrange a water taxi for us to go to the airport, and it was an exceptionally smooth process. They even helped us transport our luggage to the water taxi. We never had breakfast or afternoon tea at the hotel, so I can't give an opinion on those. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Montecarlo again and recommend it to others. "

"I booked this hotel based on the reviews, and am so glad I did. The location is the most convenient in Venice, only steps away from both the bus and train stations, which is a godsend, as anyone who's walked around Venice with luggage surely knows. The staff is excellent, they are always friendly and helpful. Elena went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and we had a balcony overlooking the Grand Canal. Happy customer, highly recommend this hotel, A+!"
