"The hotel is situated about 10 minutes from the centre of Bologna. It’s an easy walk and means you are in a much quieter area. We stayed in the Residence building which isn’t part of the main hotel building. The room was nice and big, plenty of space, the bathroom was small but adequate. "The room was very loud at night on Friday and Saturday night in particular, even with the windows closed, and the noise went until at least 2 am. And there was no AC (or at least it didn’t work) so we couldn’t keep the windows closed. Made it very hard to get a good night sleep. Toilet was also stinky and the smell penetrated into the room."

With 2 people, 2 suitcases and 2 back packs there was minimal room to get around the bed or into bathroom. "Super kind and helpful staff. Room temperature just right, compact space but with everything you need. (I travelled solo.) Had good lighting too - I dislike dark hotel rooms. Easy 10 minute walk to Piazza Maggiore. Fresh continental breakfast was fantastic. Overall wonderful stay. "
