Great property! LOVED the setting, in the middle of fields and countryside. You definitely need a car but it’s a very convenient drive to Florence and the rest of Tuscany. The property is beautiful, and the staff very friendly. The accommodations are in an old building so it comes with the quirkiness of it like noisy plumbing lol. We really enjoyed our stay.

I learned about la Ginestra after trying one of their wines back home in Canada, and I must say that was the main reason I originally booked my stay. I didn't know what to expect, but I can only share that the experience totally over delivered. The staff was super attentive, the check-in was seamless, the room was perfect, and the peace and tranquility in the mornings was unparalleled. The drive from the main highway is simple, but you need to be ready for narrow roads —take this with a grain of salt, not once we had an issue, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Located in the Chianti region, you have so many wineries and producers to visit, and with La Ginestra being one of the natural wine producers of the area, they are able to recommend and facilitate visits to other places. I want to come back and stay for a week!

Fantastic value for high quality accommodation on a property with beautiful views of the rolling Tuscan landscape. The owners and all the staff were lovely and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Lots of delicious products made on site.
