"My mistake was that I didn't notice that my reservation was for a smoking room, but the odor was excessive. I couldn't fall asleep. AC was old and take 2+ hours to cool the room."

"Would have given it 5 stars but the ac was not working well."

"They were clean and quiet. Breakfast was decent standard hotel buffet."

"The people at the vale were so helpful, friendly and kind"

"Great location, friendly staff, and awesome room!!"

"Perfect"

"The only inconvenience was parking and driving to the property…."

"My only complaint was the tv lagged a little when trying to watch something"

"I really like the old feeling vibe and clean."

"The Staff was polite and professional. The location is very close to the Alamo and a few blocks from the Riverwalk. There are restaurants, gift shops and a Starbucks within a few blocks from the Hotel. The room my husband and I stayed in was clean and large with plenty of extra space. My only complaint was the continental breakfast. The oatmeal and eggs were cold. I would recommend a better variety of food items for your guests. Offer fresh fruits, bacon, sausage, turkey bacon, biscuits, gravy...
