The breakfast was surprisingly very good and high quality. The location was great and it was in walkable distance on wear i needed to go. The only con is the daily parking was like $100.00 for two nights was in my opinion expensive just to keep my car park.

We stayed one night at Hotel Gibbs for a graduation dinner and really enjoyed our visit. The location was perfect, especially with my husband working at the Alamo. What stood out most was the historic charm and nostalgic feel of the hotel. From the beautiful marble walls in the hallway to the classic details throughout, it felt like stepping into a piece of San Antonio history. The complimentary wine sample was a nice touch, and our room was very comfortable and relaxing.

While the hotel was quaint and well located within the center of the city, my spouse and I had a hard time opening the door which kept getting stuck. The room was small and had a view of a brick wall out both our windows. The breakfast was fantastic with a good variety of items to choose from. The drinks available at the bar at the end of the day were even better. The cost to benefits ratio is fair considering what it cost to stay at this location.
