While the hotel was quaint and well located within the center of the city, my spouse and I had a hard time opening the door which kept getting stuck. The room was small and had a view of a brick wall out both our windows. The breakfast was fantastic with a good variety of items to choose from. The drinks available at the bar at the end of the day were even better. The cost to benefits ratio is fair considering what it cost to stay at this location.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice Hotel Gibbs was and the walkability to the Alamo, nearby restaurants and the Riverwalk. Our view was pretty nice from the room too. I loved their wine tasting downstairs too. Their flower wine is amazing! Would definitely recommend staying here.
