"Super établissement"

"What an exceptional stay! It was perfect! Authentically French! Richard and Sophie have updated this chateau to a warm, cozy and inviting accommodation, paying attention to every detail. From the beautiful landscape and the history of the home to the home grown gardens to the charming pets, large and small, it just does not get any better. Richard is the perfect host from a exquisite French breakfast every morning, then helping us to plan our day and generously making the perfect dinner...

"Wonderful hotel, the staff was very accommodating when we arrived on bicycles in the middle of a rain storm!"

"Could not beat the location, absolutely stunning. Our room was also top drawer. However, dinner was mediocre, waiting staff were poorly trained. Breakfast was poor, again few staff, not attentive and food choices were very limited. I had to chase 3 times to order a simple omelette and it was not busy or peak season. Overall beautiful setting which promised highly but service did not deliver and certainly not aligned to the price paid"

"Chambre spacieuse et propre, mais mal isolée (porte vers l'extérieur qui laisse passer demain froid) et le chauffage à 22 degrés.. on l'a descendu à 20. Personnel très sympathique. Petit déjeuner : dommage qu'il n'y ai pas d'oeufs brouillés. Le lait demandé m'a été servi tiède. Jolie déco. "

"In n We had a wonderful one-night stay here while traveling to Spain. The apartment is located in a charming small village, and the host was incredibly kind and welcoming. He gave us some great recommendations for things to do in the evening. The house itself is beautiful, and we highly recommend it!"

"This hotel is located a bit outside of Blois in a rather commercial area, and thus had limited options for dining. We went in to town to do so and look at the Chateau. The room is your basic chain room. I would not hesitate to stay the night there again while traveling through, though it i not the place for multiple nights if you plan to stay in the room."

"The stay was wonderful. There was a small mix up at check in. They offered us an upgrade for a modest up charge with the promise of a river view. We said yes and then had to wait a few minutes for the room. When we got to the room we had a view of tile roofs. We switched back to our original booking which ironically had a river view (which was gorgeous). "

"Hotel is located a bit far from center and no restuarant near this area, so it is not convenience for dinning by walk. Room is clean and not small, and good for traveller coming by own car because there is hotel private parking."
