"We loved our stay! The room was beautifully decorated, the bed a real king sized bed, the renovation thoughtful both in use of space and with beautiful old details left to shine. A plant filled courtyard and intimate breakfast room and lounge. Real glasses for enjoying the cold rosé. A beautiful stay. "This hotel is a true gem in Avignon. I stayed for one night and wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the property. My room was comfortable with a great AC, a little balcony, and stocked with an array of high end bath products. The central garden was a beautiful spot to rest after a day of walking around. "To be fair, this once elegant property is in a great location and the breakfast buffet & morning restaurant staff were excellent. Also, we were there in the middle of a severe heat wave, so staff and systems were strained to the max. Housekeeping staff were VERY NICE, but Front Desk - not so much. First, there were barely any outlets in the room, one in the bathroom and only one in the main room. There were two regular usb's (typeC) so if you had a newer iphone or laptop you could not charge (they are type A) unless you knew and brought usb c adapters. "Charming hotel in the perfect location! Will dream of coming back! The view out of our window was the papal palace. The quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in even though it is city center. I am sure that was because of the cut stone walls. The breakfast buffet was good and worth the price. But there are plenty of dining options within easy walking. Our train was leaving later in the day so they were happy to hold our luggage after we checked out. Our stay really was perfect!"
