"Beautiful view! I little further from Wakefield than we anticipated but just a couple minutes extra drive. We did not realize there is no TV. We didn't care, others might. The coffee maker is broken I think. My wife had to hold it closed to make it work. We loved the balcony. Bird feeder while fun to watch the birds, makes a mess on the balcony and encourages Squirrels and chip monks onto the balcony."

"I booked "the nest/le nid" a bit last minute without realizing it is a trailer, so that was a bit of a surprise! Very cool decor, very clean, beautiful place with great attention to detail. Bryce (I think his name was) checked us in and also provided service in the restaurant the next day and was extremely nice, accommodating and welcoming. The food and drinks in the restaurant were fantastic! Everything seemed very well thought out. Thanks for a great stay!"

"I have stayed at Fairmont hotels all over the world and love them. The setting and architecture of Fairmont is wonderful and the Chateau Laurier is magnificent. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience this time around. Specifically the disappointments were around the staff. The front desk told us they would make reservations for us each day at the on site pub restaurant, but failed to do so. No big deal the first time. "Beautiful space, no heating appliances, just a toaster oven. Do be prepared for minimal privacy using the shower/tub. Some noise from downstairs pub, especially on Friday nights. Its in a cute area of Gatineau."
