A historic nostalgic throwback property in a beautiful setting.
Beautiful property above a sublime lake. The setting is lovely, the grounds are well kept up without being fussy, the place feels historic and well-loved. Our third visit, twice in summer and once in winter, and we look forward to the next.
A magical place, both for the natural beauty of the mountains, the lush greenery and flowers, and for the beauty of the interiors, the setting, the décor, and the thoughtful attention to detail.
The refined and delicious meals delighted us, not only with their exquisite flavors but also with their truly beautiful presentation.
Merci !
Beautiful property with very comfortable rooms and excellent amenities. The dinner menu didn’t meet our expectations, especially for the price, but overall it was an excellent stay and we’d highly recommend the property. We hope to return soon.
Great hotel. Beautiful surroundings! The thermal pool/sauna was great! Breakfast was ok. Room was very comfortable but lacked some minor amenities (place to store our clothes/suites) and no full body mirror.
The place is filled with an old charm, the free beach access, and the pool added much value to our stay.
Easy to start hiking just outside the hotel grounds. Beautiful and well maintained gardens.
Restaurant is expensive , mattresses need a bit of upgrade , Expedia guests weren’t qualified to get the welcoming kit like the rest of the guests. Still it was a great experience.
Our stay in the annexe was relaxing. The room was very spacious as well as the bathroom. There was a large balcony with chairs with a good view of the lake.
The bed was comfortable
The food in the restaurant was well prepared and delicious.
I loved the property and the staff. The dinner we had was super and the wait staff were extremely professional.Thought the work on the gazebo and some the grounds needed some work.
Was beautiful and comfortable room - a definite improvement from our usual pet-friendly stays. Shame that the staff seemed to be overwhelmed throughout our stay. The breakfast service was as so busy and long that we decided to have breakfast elsewhere - shame that they do not offer a continental buffet breakfast at the bar. At the restaurant and by the pool, orders were delayed (or lost in the kitchen) and staff was unable to address the gaps in service. We did enjoy a fantastic massage at the spa- shame that they do not focus on making the spa more of an experience
The service was lovely from the reception to the bar to the restaurant! The room was very comfortable and the bathroom felt really luxurious. Loved everything.
Very chick and personalized with attention, well maintained and kept the original atmosphere and upgraded the room amenities, Dining room is beautiful and the service is prestine, the food is excellent.
