"This was such a wonderful stay! The building itself is very rustic and charming. It's one of the most unique places I've ever stayed! It's close enough to walk to everything but still located off the main area so it's nice and quiet. I was traveling as a solo female and I always felt safe in this area. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Even as an older building, I never noticed any issues with temperature control (it was very cold when I visited New Orleans). Highly recommend this...

"This hotel is absolutely a hidden oasis! We enjoyed every moment of the stay in this hotel. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The unit we stayed was spacious and clean. The location was excellent, right in the center of the French Quarter! Amazingly inside the unit it was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The living area was spacious. There were always bottles of water and cans of soda drinks available for the guests. The pool was well maintained. Valet parking was very quick...

"Yes. Great rooms, lots of space, very nice towels. Very nice staff at front desk, doormen and restaurant. Great Fitness Center with good equipment and view of sunrise. Great breakfasts in restaurant. Easy walking distance to Bourbon Street and all French Quarter attractions and restaurants. This was our second time staying here - definitely our favorite hotel. "

"We did not use pool but the area looked nice. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and very comfortable. Location fantastic. If you want to experience history and a great area. They have a bar which looks great but we weren't able to enjoy."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Haunted Hotel and Christina could not have been more hospitable!! She had the room warm and comfortable for our late arrival. Her directions for entering the property were excellent and included videos. We really enjoyed the courtyard and overall the hotel was very quiet and relaxing while being a short walk from the heart of the action in the French Quarter. The old building had so much character and charm. We loved our stay. "

"Helpful, friendly staff with 5-star service in every way. Hotel St. Marie is the perfect location for one to walk almost everywhere in the French Quarter for sightseeing, shopping and dining. We discovered that a car rental was not needed since Uber and Lyft are readily available. Their valet onsite parking is safe and secure. Best of all, we were far enough from Bourbon Street and other noisy venues so we had no sleep disturbance at night. We definitely would come back for another stay!"
