Yhden yön reissu

Norjan kiertomatkan lopuksi yövyttiin Saariselällä. Saunassa eka rentoutumassa, iltapala yhteisessä viihtyisässä keittiössä, omissa huoneissa jääkaappi, hyvät vuoteet ja hiljainen yö. Aamulla buffetaamiainen oli loistava.

Det var ett fint ställe, häftiga timmerhus. Bra gästkök att laga mat i. Trevligt tv rum. Bra toalett och dusch, vi hann tyvärr inte med bastun. Frukosten som var på ett hotell några minuters promenad från boendet var också bra.

O local é muito querido e acolhedor. O quarto é mais pequeno do que aquilo que parece nas fotos, mas a cozinha e sala são grandes. Poderia existir mais um local de duche, uma vez que só existe um para mulheres e outro para homens. O pequeno almoço é soberbo, só é pena que fique a cerca de 15 min a pé do alojamento e que só abra às 8h30 da manhã.

Porakka on uskomattoman tunnelmallinen majoitusliike joka tarjoaa mahtavat puitteet aktiiviliikkujille. Aitoa Lappitunnelmaa ja entisaikojen kansallisromanttista Lapinrauhaa keholle ja mielelle. Ei ihme, että edesmennyt presidenttimme on alueeseen muinoin ihastunut. Muutama kymmenen metriä kansallispuiston rajaan on luontoliikkujan unelma. Tunnelmallinen sauna kruunaa ulkoilupäivät. Lauteilla mieli vaeltaa syvälle edellisen vuosisadan puolelle ja ilmassa leijuu aitoa Lapintaikaa.

The facilities are new and very clean. Place is cozy. Check in was not easy. You must have a car to go from the place where you pick up the keys to the room. We got there late at night and picked up the keys in a green box in a parking lot. We got lost while looking for the room, road and access to the building were not clear, there was at least one foot of snow. Definitely not a walkable distance to do with luggage, children or seniors.

Séjour plus que médiocre. Il est écrit nul par sur le site de Hotels.com que l’enregistrement (dans la poste) ainsi que les petits- déjeunés ( dans une cafétéria de super marché) se déroulent au centre de la station situé à 10 minutes à pieds du logement. On vous donne la clé et un plan pour vous y rendre mais pas de personnel pour vous accompagner ( ni pour vous aider en cas de soucis car le numéro mis à disposition sur Hotels.com correspond au standard de la poste qui ferme à 17h ...). Chambre minuscule pour deux où il n’y a pas de place pour ouvrir les valises avec deux petits radiateurs électriques rendant l’ambiance très fraiche. Comprenez bien que la salle de bain, WC, cuisine, salon, sauna... sont des parties communes. Wifi inexistante...

Lovely traditional log cabin.

We stayed at Kuukkeli Porakka for a week in feb. We were looking for a log cabin that was close to everything in the village, with great access to thr national park, and this was it. The shered bathroom was a slight worry, but it was clean and we could always use it when we wanted, it wasn't too busy. The room was comfy and quiet. For thr money it was perfect.

Please refund our money. We turned up to the lodge with our 2 young children. It was cold and getting late. We knocked, nobody was there. We called, nobody answered. Had to find other accomodation :(

The best location if you are interested in hiking

This hotel is a beautiful log house. It is situated less than 100 meters from the hiking routes of Urho Kekkonen National Park. There aren't toilets or showers in rooms. Toilets, showers, a washing machine, a drying room for clothes, a microwave owen etc. are shared with other customers. However, there are a small flat screen tv and a refrigerator in an own room. The reception is situated 800 meters from the hotel. This accommodation is well-kept, very charming and close to nature, not too near to other buildings.

Praktisk og veldig koselig overnattingssted

Rommene var praktiske og enkle men veldig koselige, en fikk følelsen å være på hyttetur, men det var gode fasiliteter, som f.eks nye opppusset dusj, do og bastu. Vi hadde veldig trivelig opphold med familien med mye uteaktiviteter, skiløypene var helt ved siden av overnattingsstedet. I gangen var det mulighet å koke kaffe,te og lage noe mikrobølgeovn mat, men det hadde vært fint å hatt tilgang til å bruke kopper, bestikk og tallerker.
