"Nice hotel. Staff very friendly. Room was nice if a little compact. Very clean. We had room 203 which was a dormer room so sloping ceilings. Not so good if your tall, particularly in the shower. Cant speak fo the other rooms though. Plenty of parking when we were there."

"Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. A huge marvellous and stylish shower. Gardens, bars, reception and restaurants are all full of delights and...

"Easy check in process. We were walked to our room and everything explained to us. Room was well decorated and clean. Tea, coffee and biscuits in room. Bottled water too. As it was warm we had the windows open therefore there was some noise from the courtyard and street. This was quiet between 11pm and 7am (Sunday night). Great quality breakfast with friendly staff. Continental pastries, toast, fruit, yoghurt, etc. Hot menu options also available. Easy check out process. Would recommend."
