"We have an inside room that was above the breakfast buffer area. It was on the 4th floor so the noise wasn't a problem, but I found the room dark. The check in experience was a bit strange because the lady checking us in informed us that they preauthorize a security deposit on the credit card, which is fine, but she said the reason was if we break something in the room. I was traveling with my adult daughter and I don't think we fit the profile of someone who trashes a hotel room :) Maybe some training would be in order as she could have simply told us that it is their policy for all customers"

8/10 Good

"The hotel staff was great, cleanliness was a 10, amenities were great. However i must point out that we went during the beginning of the month of May and there were no activities offered, i wish there was mountain biking or hiking activities offered. I ended up finding out that there were great trails literally next to the hotel. My wife and i went out for a hike and had a blast. We did a 5km walk through the woods in the mountain. I wish the hotel would advertise a little more the outdoor activities. Overall the experience was 8/10."

"Finding the right reception was challenging. We were there in a slow season so the 1 st 2 reception areas were closed. Actually most things were closed. At least it was very quiet. The menu options for the dinner were limited and not very good, but the breakfast was good. This is definitely a place for kids. As an adult couple, we wished we’d stayed elsewhere. "

10/10 Excellent

"A truly unique and memorable stay. The ice sculptures are stunning and create an incredible atmosphere, and it’s a great spot for seeing the aurora if conditions are right. Just note that half board dinner in the ice hotel requires an upgrade fee, and you’ll need a car or shuttle to get there as there’s no public transport. Definitely a one-of-a-kind experience."
