"The photos are misleading and deceiving, you are staying in a new barn conversion and nothing to do with the Chateau and paying a PREMIUM. You cannot even go into the Chateau area and house as the family lives there. ALL photos of the Chateau should be removed as this gives you a false impression that you are staying in the chateau or able to visit. All rooms are in the new converted barn and nothing to do with the Chateau. The location is not close to Le Mans, it cost over sixty Euro to travel return trip by taxi for dinner at night as no restaurant service. Staff are lovely though and could not be more helpful. Extremely disappointing experience, if made aware would have stayed in Le Mans itself."

"The hotel is extremely convenient - just off the motorway - and good value. Our only very small complaint it that there wasn't enough food at breakfast - they ran out of milk and bread. Not good when you have small children!"

"This is really a very special place. A beautiful French Chateau, the owners and their staff make you feel like very welcome guests in their home. We enjoyed aperitifs with the other guests and then a delicious meal in a beautiful dining room filled with antiques original features. Our bedroom was very beautiful, with a small boudoir over looking the park, claw foot bath and four poster bed. Would highly recommend, especially if you appreciate historic elegance. "

"Great hotel for a stop over night or two, 15 to 20 minutes walk from the centre, however i must point out how great the staff were, couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, exceptionally clean and well looked after hotel "

"The room was nice and clean although very small, however it did serve a purpose and we didn’t have breakfast. Didn’t like the idea of using the showers and toilet facilities so paid extra for a room which included these facilities. "

"The hotel and room were clean and staff were pleasant. The restaurant wasn’t open the night we stayed which would have been useful to know beforehand. The Italian restaurant next door was ok for the one night. The dual carriage way outside was noisey with young boy racers speeding up and down. "

"It’s a motel, not a hotel. Facilities are very poor. The desk is not operating after 9pm so no requests can be fulfilled. We booked as 2 but only had one towel. The “air conditioning” operated not as a heater so it could not cool the room. We will never book a B&B hotel again. "
