The hotel is very nice overall. The staff was helpful with info and ordering up taxis for us. My wife raved about the pasta dinner she had. Our only complaint was the size of our bathroom, specifically how small the shower is.

This is an older hotel, like most in Rome. The rooms are a good size, and the views are great because the hotel is at the top of the hill. The pool is nice, but the weather was too cold for us to use it. The breakfast in the morning was amazing, and the location was great for shopping and dining. Again, the hotel is at the top of a steep hill, so if you have mobility issues, it could cause an issue. I would stay there again.

Dejligt hotel
Rigtig dejligt ophold. Blev opgraderet til værelse med badekar og egen terrasse uden ekstra omkostninger. Hotellet ligger højt over byen og i udkanten af Trastevere, men stadig i gå afstand til Tiberen og ellers med gode busforbindelser til Trastevere station (bus 871 og derfra mulighed for tog til Fiumicino lufthavn) og andre gode forbindelser til bl.a Piazza Venezia, Peters kirken o.a.

It was first trip to Rome and it was nice to be just a few miles away from the city center. The views were spectacular because the Hotel was up in the hills overlooking the city. The front counter staff (Ianna) not sure how to spell her name was simply a joy, always smiling and gracious.

Decent for one night
The pool is nice and the included breakfast is good. fine for one night. The walls are very thin so I could hear the guy next door snoring and any other little thing. the AC was also whining and beeping all night.

Bei einem Hotel mit 4 Sternen und bei dem Preis haben wir bestimmt etwas anderes erwartet. Das Hotel hat eine super Lage. Die Gegend ist wirklich schön und mit dem Bus ist man schnell bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch der Pool lohnt sich. Der Zustand des Hotels ist aber alles andere als toll. Es ist sehr dunkel und in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bad ist unglaublich klein und man kann sich gerade mal so um sich selber drehen. Überall gibt es Ecken die einfach alt und in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer sind unglaublich hellhörig. Aus dem Schlafzimmer konnte man hören wenn die Gäste aus den benachbarten Zimmern ins Bad gegangen sind und z.B. geduscht haben oder zur Toilette gegangen sind konnten wir alles hören. Im Bad dann dasselbe. Ich konnte jedes Wort hören das von oben gesprochen wurde. Nachts war es unerträglich weil wir durch die Geräusche immer wieder wach geworden sind. Auch der Service beim Frühstück war sehr unhöflich. Als ich nach Wasser gefragt habe wurde mir gesagt es gibt keine neuen Flaschen da gleich das Frühstück beendet sei (dabei waren es noch 45 Minuten bis ende!). Es war wirklich kein schöner Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Man hat sich sehr als unerwünscht gefühlt. Der Service am Empfang entspricht auch keinen 4 Sternen. Das Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen. Vor allem nicht zu diesen Preisen!

Good pool, dated hotel.
Pool and bar and pool staff where amazing. However Hotel itself and rooms are very old and dates. We had a few problems with the room that wasn’t really solved over 4 days.

Super clean. Lækkert med pool. Finefaciliteter. Ligger lidt væk fra Rom centrum så taxa er nødvendigt. Men god løsning med pool badning om dagen og byen om aftenen.

Kort opphold før hjemtur. Veletablert hotell i et av Romas bedre kvarter. Kjempeflott svømmebasseng - en sann velsignelse når gradestokken viste 32C i skyggen. OK dusj, men det manglet "glidunderlag" i badekaret. Lett å gå ned til Trastevere. Tyngre å komme seg hjem. Taxi opp ca €10.

Could be much better…
The hotel located on a hill near park, quiet neighborhood right next to Michelin star restaurant and has nice grounds and pool around but this is the only positive points. The link for public transport is totally inconvenient, it takes at least half hour ride to the attractions, and the bus comes in half hour, it walkable down but back you may need a taxi. The classic room is disappointing, it’s small and dark and the bed is stuck between walls that feel like a dungeon. No upgrade or benefits provided as Expedia Gold VIP member. The worst part is paper thin walls, I’m not a picky person BUT I woke up in the middle of the night because of a couple that was F****g the next door, I could hear everything like it was happening in my bed as well as the conversation they had afterwards…mind it was 3 am Saturday night… The breakfast is very basic, not many choices and terrible coffee, the worst I had in Italy. Yes, this hotel has attractive price, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The staff and service was excellent. Property is fairly close to the Vatican and Trastevere, but beware of the uphill climbs getting back to the hotel after long days of walking all over the city!

Qiet, safe, beautiful location.
Quiet gated garden location w pool on high hill with St. Peter's Dome view from restaurant. Need a taxi for most locations....15 min. down hill might be walkable, but uphill we needed taxi. 7- 15Euros to most locations, 25Euros to main train in traffic 30 min. 50Euros airport. but room cheap by comparisons. Near park/garden for views, walks and running. Loved pool bar even off season. NO ENGLISH TV.

Aparência muito antiga e quartos pequenos
Parece mais um hotel mal assombrado. Tem decoração muito antiga, apesar de parecer ter passado por uma renovação na parte elétrica. Os quartos e o banheiro são muito pequenos e há um pouco de cheiro de mofo em seu interior. O café da manhã é relativamente variado, mas a reposição dos alimentos é fraca. Há ovos mexidos,, bacon, salsichas, pães, bolos e poucas frutas e cereais. O atendimento da recepção foi um pouco rude no check-in. Há estacionamento no local, com custo de 20 EUR, mas quando chegamos, mal pudemos retirar as malas do carro, que a recepcionista falou que tínhamos que retirar o carro caso não quiséssemos usar o estacionamento. Tive que levar as malas sozinho para o quarto enquanto minha esposa estacionava na rua, que tinha vagas disponíveis e sem custo.

complained about loudspeaker noise coming from an event at the hotel that could be heard in the hallways as well as our room but the concierge seemed more sympathetic to the event than us! lobby toilets were not serviced

very disappointed
The first room we were shown was not "superior" as paid for, tiny, dingy, depressing. The staff were extremely unfriendly and said they were sold out but when I complained loudly, they found a better room right away. The airconditioning didn't work for 2/4 nights -- when we complained we were met with denial, but finally a repair person was brought in. Once fixed airconditioning could only be regulated at the front desk which is very awkward. It is an antiquated system. We slept extremely badly and this made it difficult to work. The breakfast room is dark and depressing and the food is mediocre. The only redeeming feature is the pool which was very welcome as it was quite warm. The hours are limited however and when one is on a work trip that means one can't access the pool before or after work, a big disappointment. This place needs an overhaul. The pool and location are terrific, but the rest of the hotel could use major rennovation and new staff .
