The delux suite we had was terrible with a round bed and a shower with alternating colored lights. Room was tiny with a long hallway. Floor was filthy as I had to clean up a drink I spilled and the white towel was black from dirt. There was a window that overlooked the roof and rat traps. Staff were helpful and breakfast was very good. Best thing about it was the location nearby the Pantheon.

The location is the best. Easy walking to all. Trevi a couple of blocks. Pantheon around the corner. Great staff very helpful, will guide you and ordered taxi for us each day. Very clean and our room was an upgrade which was excellent. Well recommended. Restaurants within very short walking distance.

My husband, son and I stayed at the Colonna suite del Corso last week for two nights. What a brilliantly located option it turned out to be. Rooms are quirky. Ours had a huge round bed (odd, but comfortable). The room smelled strongly of air freshener when we arrived (note to the management - please don’t do that!) so we had to open the windows to let it disperse. The ‘bar’ and breakfast area is v small - it’s not really a hotel, more a B&B or room only option. However staff were friendly and we were able to leave our luggage on check out day. The best bit is definitely the location. Wow. So close to everything. We didn’t need to take public transport. Staff were friendly and hekfuk too. If you have just a couple of nights in Rome stay here. The location can’t be beaten. And don’t forget to pre-book tickets for anything you want to see. Rome is busy busy busy!

Great location for seeing sights like the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, etc. Lots of dining options nearby. Modern and comfortable. No signage outside of the hotel, so it was somewhat difficult to find.

The rooms are worn out and dingy, not what is shown on the website. The place doesn’t seem like a proper hotel. However, the staff was very nice. But, I would not recommend this place.

Colonna Suite del Corso
The Colonna Suite del Corso is located in a perfect place. Walking distance to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and numerous restaurants and shops. It is located on a quiet street, so not a lot of night noise. Our taxi dropped us off at the Colonna Palace Hotel, which is right around the corner from the Colonna Suite del Corso. There is no sign for the hotel, just a doorway with the name of the hotel on a doormat in the doorway. We booked the deluxe room, which is a little bigger. The room was comfortable. The shower was a bit small, but manageable. The bathtub is a nice touch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful whenever we had a question or request. I would definitely recommend this place.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. Here are our highlights: - Our check-in experience was terrible. There was one person to check in the guests. We were waiting for over 30 mins to check in. - The elevator is tiny and slow - Pipes buzz every time other rooms use their washroom, might wake you up - The sink and drains smell of rotten eggs - No washroom door - In-room safe is not attached to wall/furniture, could easily be picked up and walked out with - Front desk is not on site starting around 10pm - The wifi was not working, was terrible and kept cutting out - This hotel was advertised online as 3-stars, but is actually 2-stars. False advertising - Advertised as luxury. Nothing, and I do mean nothing, is luxurious about it. The hotel talks about designer rooms and being a boutique hotel; the decoration in our room was laugh out loud tacky. With everything stated above, the room felt overpriced. We noticed better hotels available for cheaper in the neighborhood. The good - Location - Room we were in was spacious - Good breakfast

First, I like that the property is close to the Palazzo Chigi where the PM lives. The area is well guarded by police.Secondly, the location is prime. 3 minutes walk to the Trevi fountain, 5 minutes walk to the Pantheon, 8 to Piazza Navona, 10 minutes walk to the typewriter and Capitolini museum, less than 10 minutes walk to the spanish steps. Many shopping stores if you like to do shopping. A lot of places to eat and buy sandwiches.

My girlfriend and I just stayed here 4 nights and it was by far one of the best places we've stayed in Europe. The hotel itself was on a quiet back street near some government builds square. police are constantly in this square so felt very safe to walk around even at 1am. Breakfast every morning by the staff and good options. The hotel is a short walk to major sites and is in our opinion a hidden gem, We will defiantly be staying here for all future Rome holidays.

Lovely stay and felt very welcome by the staff. Super comfy bed, fabulous shower and good location. We had a very early check out and they kindly made us up a breakfast bag to take with us. The only thing I could possibly say was that the lighting in the room wasn’t very good when trying to do my make up but that really is it. Keep up the good work Colonna Suite del Corso!

The staff was very polite, knowledgeable and kind. They saved us from missing a pre-booked sold out tour to The Forum promptly when my boyfriend left his ID in the room.. The night staff did a proper check in, (she text me to see if we would be arriving before 10pm. If we were going to be late she would have left entry instructions...loved that!) she took a pic of our ID at check in. The following day I was able to call the hotel and have them send me the pic to my phone, and we were able to enter the Colosseum (the main attraction of our trip) as they ask for photo identification upon entry.

Our room felt like we were staying in a brothel. The lighting was dim, erotic picture on the wall, glass panel to see into shower and it just felt seedy and grubby. Staff were friendly and location was great but wouldn't stay here again.

Great hotel. Great location.
We loved our time in Rome. We didn't spend much time in the hotel because it was hard to not go out and explore the city. Our room was very comfortable though, we had the deluxe suite with the round bed, I never had a round bed before but it was actually huge, seemed bigger than a kind so that excellent. The breakfast in the morning was very nice, the location is PERFECT. So close to Pantheon and Trevi and so many amazing restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.

Great location, in walking distance to many local highlights. Good spread for breakfast.
