"Love these older style hotels. There has clearly been recent refurbishment and the reception and staircase look great and in keeping with su a property. The standard room we stayed in was basic and if older style but very clean. Everything worked as expected and we had a great sleep.
As there is no on site restaurant the foyer and downstairs area lack a bit of ambience and I would suggest some music be played to make it a bit more welcoming

"Fantastic place to stay, was perfect for us when visiting Harrogate and North Yorkshire. Staff were excellent, super polite and helpful, showed us to our room and nothing was too much trouble during breakfast. Was nice to see staff take so much pride in their hospitality. Room was clean and stylish, extra points for a modern bathroom, with the balcony area being great for sitting out in the stars and chatting. Would happily go back here. Place was 10/10, and in a great location for transport too"

"me and my partner paid extra for private mud bath and spa the staff at the spa were excellent taking us to a private area and making us feel very welcomed around the area. The reception staff were also very helpful and the restaurant was a reasonable price amazing and fast service and the food was amazing would definitely recommend and be staying again"
