"A truly exceptional place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with a lovely balcony, and the staff were very friendly. Fresh towels and toiletries were attentively refilled on the second day even without us requesting. The breakfast was delicious too, there were beautiful flowers and trees in the garden behind the restaurant. Both our baby and our dog enjoyed their time there."

"The breakfast food was spot on Fresh tomatoes ,fresh mushrooms, Eggs cooked just as i asked soft yoke, a perfect selection of sundries, The evening meal, was excellent, with a very varied menu to suit all tastes, The Irish coffee i asked for was very bitter, so much so i actually could not taste the whiskey. Another major downside was the tedious matter of having to que up at the bar to order food, , Table service ordering has been stopped, I found this bizarre for a hotel to adopt this...

"A canny location for getting out and about and reasonably priced. However the spa facilities it turned aren't included in the price and are in sessions, £20 for 3 hours, which I guess is quite reasonable, however not if you just wanted to have an hour for a quick relax in the hot tub or a swim before going out to tea etc, which was the reason for my booking this hotel.
