"This was the most beautiful property I have ever seen. The owner and the staff were so lovely. I wish I could have stayed longer it was such an excellent location, everything was so clean and immaculate."

"This is a 4-5 unit B&B just north of Tours, convenient for visiting several of the major chateaus in the Loire valley...we visited Ambois, Blois and Chambord. The property dates from the Ninth Century and sits next to a "rock" that has passage ways inside leading to a swimming pool area 25 steps up with 10 mile views of the surrounding area. "Rustige authentieke locatie. Mooie kamers, heerlijk ontbijt. Parkeren op het afgesloten terrein. Gastvrouw spreekt uitstekend Engels. Zeer genoten van de rust en de prachtige omgeving. Aanrader"

No TV set (fine), but hardly any Wi-Fi at our specific unit -- the Wi-Fi was great (and fast) everywhere else on the property though. The breakfasts were good but not great. No fruit, just regular...

"We had a wonderful stay at Le Clos Sainte-Marie and couldn’t recommend it more highly. It offers a truly authentic Loire Valley experience — peaceful, welcoming, and full of local charm. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property was spotlessly clean, the rooms were spacious and very private, and the location is ideal — close to most of the major Loire Valley castles. Breakfast was simply outstanding — the most delicious we had...
