"The apartment is really nice. Just missing like a vending machine, there is nothing around in case you need water or a drink. Also missing hair dryer. The beds were super comfortable and everything clean."

Staff was great and fun, and the owner is a pretty cool dude! The walking trail on the property, about a mile long, was very fun and weird and I loved it most of all. "We liked this place so much that we booked it again on our second swing by Bologna. This is the PERFECT base if you are doing the cheese and acetto tours, plus it is a gorgeous classical Italian country villa. The parking is a bit confusing, and the is hardly any signs that point you to the check-in office, but it is a minor issue UNLESS you arrive after 8pm. "Staying here was an awesome experience, if even for a day. We arrived late in the evening and the owner Mario was so very accommodating and informative. We stayed in the side house, an interesting property with its centuries-old design. We could feel the history in every room. It was very comfortable, very roomy and the amenities made us feel right at home. The drive up may intimidate some (if during at night), as it winds up the mountain side, but staying there is well worth it. Thank you Mario...
