"The staff was fine. Some people seemed very happy to help, most only communicated via nods. The best staff was at the cafe, they were always friendly. We wish the pool was open a bit later, the bar is staffed but the area near the pool was empty most nights. The evenings on the resort were surprisingly quiet, there’s almost no nightlife. The AC in our room was stuck at 20C, we asked many times to have it unlocked or at least turn it to 22C, but didn’t get it. The restaurants were meh. Skip Maya, Sofra was great, the seafood tavern was pretty good too! Honestly the buffet was pretty good, the food was consistently tasty and we ended up opting to just eat at the buffet for dinner most nights. Overall we enjoyed the stay, the room was very nice, just needed a good dusting up high (I’m 6’3” and could see a thick layer of dust on the tops of most furniture). The swim up pool was awesome to relax in and sit by during the evenings."

"Overall, enjoyed my week at this hotel and would stay again. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. Location is great and rates very reasonable. The breakfast buffet is reasonable but gets old quickly. Some of the staff could be friendlier, specifically the staff at the pool. I almost felt I was bothering them when I needed towels or ordering lunch which I did only once. The staff at front desk were great at check-in and when they ordered taxi for me."

"Perfect location. Very easy to work with. Need more bed covers for visitors from US who are used to blankets. Need to offer more & larger towels. Would stay here again but would bring blanket & large towel."

"Hotel was close to the bus depot, so was easily accessible and close to the rest of the town. Free breakfast buffet every morning, including eggs, bacon, sausage, baked goods, fruit, coffee, etc. Pool was a nice to have. Staff were helpful enough and spoke multiple languages, but patience might be needed if some of them don't fluently speak the same language as you. The first bedroom I was assigned to had a shared (locked) door to another room beside mine, and I could hear everything they were doing. Front desk was happy to change my room without issue, but I still find it odd that the set up exists and that it's not soundproof. Housekeeping was fine, and no real issues with cleanliness. There is a neighbor in the area who apparently likes to occasionally play loud music until early in the morning. One night he was playing music until 2am. Not the hotel's fault and apparently they've tried to talk to him before. To be fair, I was there during a public holiday. Overall was a good experience, but don't go in expecting a high-end resort."

"We originally stayed at the Hilton Curacao Resort & Casino for our vacation, due to a last-minute flight cancellation, we had to extend our stay two nights at the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort and it turned out to be a far superior experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elevated. The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the location is a perfect 10/10—walkable, scenic, and incredibly convenient. What started as an unexpected extension of our trip quickly turned into the highlight of our stay on the island. Because everything was last minute and we were unable to get a flight off the island, we were especially grateful for how well we were taken care of. Zahayra (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) stood out in particular—she went out of her way on multiple occasions to ensure my fiancé and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. At one point, we asked for a simple Band-Aid after my fiancé cut his foot at the beach, and she immediately arranged for medical assistance to ensure it was properly covered and didn’t become infected. That level of care and attention meant a lot. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely friendly, attentive, and willing to go above and beyond without hesitation. It’s rare to feel that supported in a hotel, especially during travel disruptions. Overall, 10/10 experience. We would absolutely recommend the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort and would stay again without hesitation."
