"Zowel bij check-in als check-out was het duidelijk dat men luever niets deed dan een gast verwelkomen. Zuchten, eerst papieren blijven schuiven en omvriendelijkheid all over the place. Dat is jammer, want een goed hotel met ruime kamers, donker en met uitstkende bedden en overig personeel heel aardig. Je moet wel vam Engelse bejaarden houden :-)"

"Great hotel in central location with comfortable room. Immaculately clean everywhere. Lovely rooftop pool, excellent spa facilities with indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Breakfast choices and.service were very good with fabulous fruit every day and tasty fresh egg dishes. Didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening. So convenient for all sights, dining and shopping. Would definitely visit again. "

"The stay was a romantic getaway. The hotel has a great location I would definitely go back but only in the summer time. The biggest attraction are the natural pools which were closed due to weather. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly but it’s super outdated and the food options were not great "

"Super Hotel au cœur de la ville de Funchal. Au dessus du centre commercial Plaza. Très pratique s’il vous manque quoi que ce soit car il y a une épicerie directement sur place. Nous avons adoré notre séjour de deux nuits en avril 2024. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent et très bien garni. Service parfait à l’arrivée et au buffet. Belle piscine sur le toit avec vue imprenable sur Funchal. Machine distributrice d’eau et d’eau pétillante. Nous recommandons vivement. "

"We had a fantastic stay! The staff were super friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious and spotless, with views over the sea - beautiful! The hotel is located near lots of great restaurants and has a bus stop nearby to easily get around Funchal. The car park is fairly small but we had no issues finding a space for three nights. We'd definitely recommend the hotel."

"Our third visit to this hotel and as usual it was excellent. Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It’s a nice walk, mostly downhill, to the centre of Funchal or there is a frequent and reliable bus service which stops a hundred metres from the front door. Breakfast has everything you’d want and although we didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening it was an option and there are plenty of quality and affordable restaurants nearby. "
