"We had an absolutely perfect stay at Pestana Promenade! The rooms are lovely and spacious. The only thing that bugged me was the big arch blocking our view of the sea partially. A few rooms have this problem. The staff are amazing, especially the cleaning ladies who do a wonderful job and are very kind. Amazing staff in the restaurant as well! "We had a fantastic stay! The staff were super friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious and spotless, with views over the sea - beautiful! The hotel is located near lots of great restaurants and has a bus stop nearby to easily get around Funchal. The car park is fairly small but we had no issues finding a space for three nights. We'd definitely recommend the hotel."

"Our third visit to this hotel and as usual it was excellent. Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It’s a nice walk, mostly downhill, to the centre of Funchal or there is a frequent and reliable bus service which stops a hundred metres from the front door. Breakfast has everything you’d want and although we didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening it was an option and there are plenty of quality and affordable restaurants nearby. "
