"Chas was there when he checked in. He was very nice and polite. He called our room about 5 minutes or so after we got to it for a courtesy call to see if the room was okay. I told him about the toilet seat being loose and he sent the maintenance man to fix it right away. The room was very clean and smelled really good. "
"At one point, Rainbow Motel.may have been down, but the new owners are worki g to turn the experience around. What you get: a clean room with TV and a comfortable bed and shower. But, youre also RIGHT across from arguably one of the BEST bakeries in the country (Weber's Bakery -fresh morning sonuts and pastries), around the corner from Chicago's most popular beef sandwich (Portillo's), within a 2 minute walk of several other restaurants as well as an Aldi, Walgreens and Ace Hardware. BUT......
"My go-to place in the area. Decor is somewhat dated and check-in is slow sometimes yet I come back because it’s a convenient location and the prices are reasonable. I prefer a 1st floor room and the staff will usually honor the request if they can."
