"It was disgustingly dirty! The shower curtain had a big brown stain, the floor was dirty, the toilet paper holder was completely rusted, no fitted sheet, a flat sheet on the bottom of a stained mattress pad. It was gross and icky. The site says you can check in until 12 midnight but I received a call from the property the day of my arrival and they insisted I check in earlier. If I had time to figure out how to get my money back - I would. It was GROSS!!!"

"Nice staff, clean rooms and convenient location to Carlsbad Village at an affordable price. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from outside as well as the rooms above and next to the room you’re staying in. However, we enjoyed our stay overall. One suggestion would be to add hooks or a metal bar to hang towels in the bathroom. "

"Do not be misled by the reviews that left 10 stars. Like i was. When we walked in it felt very sketch. Although the bedding had been washed there are stains on the sheets and blankets. There are scuff marks and black hand prints on the walls. It wouldn’t take much to make this hotel feel cleaner. Simply painting walls and getting new bedding. The hotel staff was friendly and there was good water pressure and the location was good but other then that it was not great."

"Don’t stay here unless it’s your very last choice. The hotel is so gross and dirty. I guess you get what you pay for. The drains are full of hair and idk what. Stains all over the “clean sheets”. You can tell they don’t wipe or disinfect anything. Cobwebs and dust all over. Hallways smell crazy. And don’t even get me started on the fridge in the room. Ughh it’s so nasty. I wouldn’t have stayed if I didn’t book in advance and didn’t pay for the protection to get reimbursed, never making that mistake again. "

"Breakfast was good. Made that easy to start the day. Jacuzzi was broken . Manager did take 20 off room so that was nice gesture. Shower was hot then cold then hot then cold . A good place to crash but room was basic. Close to pier which was cool. Next to freeway which was easy to navigate but you are next to a major freeway. I"
