"For the price it was good, staff were great as i arrived late they phoned me and waited. The bed is a little on the hard side but okay for a night. Would stay again if needing a room for a night. "

"More like a motel than a hotel. No one present upon arrival. We found a workman at the back who phoned someone to open up. Surly and unhelpful, although there is a restaurant no food served Sunday evening or Monday morning."

"Extremely clean and comfortable throughout the whole hotel. All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. As always the restaurant meal was fantastic. We’ve stayed here several times but this was the first time we had breakfast. I was a bit wary given some of the previous review comments, but the selection and quality was fantastic - probably the best of all the hotels we’ve stayed in."

"Lovely boutique hotel outside Bourges, with renovated buildings set out around a courtyard where breakfast is served in good weather, else served indoors. Clean room, welcoming manager, and a nice continental breakfast spread. "

"We can fully recommend Charnay Plaisance! The main house is beautiful (some renovation work is ongoing but is unobtrusive); our room was very comfortable; breakfast was very good; the swimming pool was fantastic and the welcome we received (from reception staff and from the owner and his wife) was very warm and friendly. We will return!"

"Séjour de 2 nuits dans le cadre d'un déplacement professionnel. Je fais attention au calme et la propreté des hébergements lorsque je me déplace. Ces 2 critères ont été satisfaits, en plus d'un magnifique cadre au milieu de la nature. En revanche cet hébergement convient davantage pour un séjour en amoureux que pour un déplacement professionnel en solo :). Il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner proposé en hiver, mais j'ai été prévenu le jour de mon déplacement. Ce n'est pas clairement indiqué sur le...
