"Very Clean,Very Hospitable. "

"The room was very nice as was the staff. I loved the roof top seating areas. We brought our wine to watch the sunset. Lovely. They have a record player in the room and you can use albums from the lobby. Bring your own if you have them. 😀 They offer a nice healthy breakfast that you can take with you to the room or up to the roof. Great spot to walk to local restaurants. We had a drink at the Shanty right next to the lodge. Drinks were good and a fun place to hang out for a bit. "

"The king room park facing is very spacious and clean. It has the essentials that are needed for a comfortable stay. The WiFi worked, the shower was warm, the bed was comfortable, the AC was cold, the TV worked well and the balcony is a great addition for fresh air and I had a partial ocean view! I really like that the rooms are not carpeted - cleaner option overall. I didn’t have the free breakfast as I was headed out to enjoy the great nearby restaurants/coffee shops. This was my 2nd time staying here and I have never had any issues. For the location and the price, this hotel is really great for a little beach getaway! "

"Stay was very enjoyable minus the last day. Right before check out house keeping kept coming into the room without knocking while we were showering to get ready to leave. It didn’t happen once but twice at 9 am. I was a little confused because check out was at 11 and it made us feel uncomfortable and rushed to leave."

"The parking is really tight and the lane is too narrow. You can barely pull out without having to adjust a couple of times. Other than the parking, it is a great hotel."

"Microwave availability would be nice. The manager was so helpful and they were very pet friendly. We loved staying at the hotel. "

"First, not a cheap hotel so maybe our expectations were high. So we chose March 17 in hopes of avoiding summer crowds. We go to the pool on this hot day and shortly after, no less than 5 kids (5 or 6 yr olds give or take) are unleashed into the pool. No school? The screaming, splashing and the noise. Then one gets a bloody nose and dad just hands him a napkin (while in the pool no less) while jr just keeps washing his nose in the pool water. I think the napkin eventually dissolved in the pool. Then the other rug rats proclaim they just peed in the pool. When did parents become so utterly clueless? Fine, skip the pool. I’ll go get a margarita instead. $26 + a surge charge and a small tip, $28 later. Good rita, but not that good. The kids weren’t necessarily the hotel’s fault, but the overpriced marg was, considering the abundance of bars and restaurants immediately around the property, their price gauging seemed over the top. Thanx, but never again. But hey, hope you enjoy your stay though. But leave your d**n kids at home and don’t buy drinks there. Go across the street."
